This group is for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels to meet others who love to ski or ride. Our common interest is a passion for skiing or snowboarding and our goal is simple… to get out on the snow and have FUN! During the season we'll hold monthly meetings (mixers/happy hours), organize day & weekend trips, car-pool, etc. Occasionally, we may schedule trips out of the area; like Tahoe, Colorado, Washington, Whistler, etc). The Portland Nordic Club is a Chapter of the Oregon Nordic Club, and was founded in 1968 to promote the values of outdoor recreation and cross country skiing. Since then we've grown into a group who cross country skis, telemarks, hikes, camps, paddles and bikes on regular outings.
